הפיוט לְכָה דוֹדִי הוא חלק מתפילות קבלת שבת הנאמרות בערב שבת לפני תפילת ערבית
הפיוט חובר על ידי הרב שלמה אלקבץ בשנת (1584) בוונציה ונחשב לחלק החדש ביותר בסידור התפילה שמקובל על כל העדות

הִתְנַעֲרִי מֵעָפָר קוּמִי, לִבְשִׁי בִּגְדֵי תִפְאַרְתֵּךְ עַמִּי
עַל יַד בֶּן יִשַׁי בֵּית הַלַּחְמִי, קָרְבָה קל נַפְשִׁי גְאלָּהּ

Phonetic: Hitna'ari me'afar kumi livshi bigdey tifartech ami al yad Ben Yishai beit halachmi karvah el nafshi ge'alah.

Translation: Get up from the ash and shake it off your self wear your glorious cloths of my nation next to Ben Yishai (King David’s father Yishai/Jesse, was the grandson of Boaz and Ruth) and beit halachmi redemption draws near to my soul.

This is sung by all Hebrew congregations during the Friday night prayer at synagogue, it is part of the "Le'cha Dodi" mystical hymn composed by Rabbi Shlomo Halevi Alkabetz in the year of 1584. The music for this hymn was composed by Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach in the 1980's.
